This must be the most bento bento I've made so far. I think I'm getting the hang of the whole "visually appealing" thing. Honey, soy sauce, and garlic are my go to ingredients when I need to whip up some kind of marinade. They just work well together!
I have a hard time writing out these recipes because I simply don't measure anything. I usually just eyeball it and if it tastes good, then great! If it tastes bad, then I add in a little bit of whatever until it's edible. This method usually works out for me :)
Normally you would marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight, but I kind of hate doing things ahead of time like that. So this recipe assumes that you just got to the grocery store, unsure of what to have for dinner, and after half an hour of milling around finally you decide to make honey soy baked chicken. This is how I adult.
